Our founder

Peter Mazunga, the founder of Pejarock, brings over 20 years of expertise in finance and governance. His career reflects a dedication to empowering businesses through strategic financial management and compliance. With extensive experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors, Peter provides hands-on, customized solutions that enable organizations to confidently navigate complex regulatory requirements. His commitment to innovation and excellence drives Pejarock's vision, establishing the consultancy as a trusted partner for businesses aiming to thrive in today’s dynamic market. Peter is currently a PhD candidate at Rhodes University, focusing on decision-making and leadership. He holds an MBA, and qualifications from the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and a BCompt degree in Financial Accounting. A Chartered Secretary and Governance Professional, he is also a member of the Institute of Directors South Africa (IoDSA). Peter has held numerous board positions, including roles as Treasurer and Chair of Finance, Audit, and Risk Committees.

Jane holds several qualifications, including a Governance Practitioner qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa and a Diploma in Business Bookkeeping and Accounts.
